Verbs and phrases used with clothes

I got up at 8 o'clock, took a shower, got dressed, and had breakfast. It was a chilly morning so I put on my coat and left home at about 8.45. When I got to work I took off my coat and hung it up on a hook. It was warm in the office, so I took my jacket off as well and rolled up the sleeves of my shirt.

During my lunch break I had a look around the shops. I saw a nice pullover and beautiful trousers in one place and tried them on, but they didn't fit me - the pullover was too big and they didn't have the right size, and the trousers were too short.

When I got home I took off my suit and changed into jeans and a T-shirt. I felt much better then.
